Talks, webinars, podcasts

Stories from building things people said wouldn’t work.

I speak about intrapreneurship, customer psychology, product strategy, and building AI with intention. Every talk is built on something I actually shipped, with the numbers and the scar tissue to go with it.

01The talks

Four talks I give well.

Each adapts from a 15-minute webinar segment to a 45-minute keynote. If your audience sits between two of these, we can build a hybrid.

  1. “Cool, I won’t fail”

    Intrapreneurship without permission slips

In May 2022, DoorLoop’s CEO told AJ they had tried a website division at a previous company and couldn’t make it work. He built it anyway. First site published November 2022; over 1,000 sites since, with a team of one. The talk covers the safety-net question every intrapreneur should ask before starting, why the earlier attempt died, and the constraints that let this one scale.

  2. People buy emotional security

The psychology of the client yes

After a decade of selling and delivering websites and brands, AJ has learned that clients say yes when they feel safe handing the problem to someone competent. This talk covers how to build a sales and delivery process around reassurance, and why most agencies lose deals on anxiety, not price.

  3. The post-MVP trap

Prioritizing when every feature feels urgent

You shipped the MVP. Now every roadmap conversation is a fight between user need and founder ego. Drawing on his equity-only work with early-stage startups, AJ walks through his teardown method, the four-quadrant prioritization grid he built for founders, and how to kill features without killing morale.

  4. AI with intention

Lessons from building an AI chevruta

AJ spent months building Derekh Learning, an iOS app that uses AI as a study partner for Torah and Talmud. Making AI serve a 2,000-year-old learning tradition forces hard questions about where the technology helps and where it hollows things out. This talk covers both, with the product decisions to show for it.

04From hosts and organizers

AJ was a speaker a few times. He is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and reliable speaker. He knows what he is talking about and is very easy to work with. I have done literally more than 1,000 webinars for Semrush and than Duda, so I do know what is a good speaker.
