Biography

Alexander J. Oberlender is a graduate of Florida International University with a degree in Political Science. He was a part of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and AEPi, the foremost Jewish fraternity. During his time at FIU, he took creative writing courses focusing on narrative techniques and poetry.

For over two years, he was an integral part of opening the Aventura Ace Hardware store, taking on various roles. Subsequently, he accepted an offer to join the Apple Store in Aventura for two and a half years, where he was involved in sales, training, inventory, and tech support. Additionally, he initiated and implemented technological enhancements to the checkout process, improving the customer experience.

After graduating, he was hired by Scheck Hillel Community School as their Assistant Technical Director, providing audio, video, and lighting services for productions, assemblies, and sports. A year later, he was promoted to Technical Director, managing the inventory for all A/V and Lighting, and creating playbills for main stage productions. Three years later, he was also integrated into the IT department, serving as the primary help desk support for the 1,200+ person community with 160+ classrooms and offices.

He is a creative, analytical thinker with a strong dedication to customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. He believes technology is essential in the current climate, and has the knowledge and expertise to help companies take advantage of it.
